This is the newest attraction in Dubai.Perhaps the most unique building in the world.Inaugurated a few weeks ago,
In this vlog, we'll take you on a detailed tour of this Museum of the Future.
There's this thing floating around.
It's not tied to a string. It is literally floating.
It feels like a futuristic animal."As you voyage to the future,I will be your guide.Walk into the future,Not predictions,They are the challenges."
The museum is divided into 5 chapters.
We'll start our journey with the first chapter,
it's on the fifth floor.the OSS Hope.
The theme of this chapter is Space Exploration.
They've imagined that we've travelled to the year 2071. And in 2071, there's an amazing space station orbiting the Earth.
Called the Orbital Space Station (OSS).
They've created a mind-blowing environment.
Looking at the surroundings, and walking through here,it really feels as if you're in 2071.
And in a space station. So this station here is called the Outside Possibilities.
This is explaining to you all, all the machines that we have in the future.
As well as some of the active machines that we had in space. In this space station,
they are telling us about the current ongoing machines. The ones being used now, in 2071.
Along with some information about many futuristic technologies. One such interesting technology is generating energy from the moon.
This year, they have installed solar panels on the moon, And the energy generated by the solar panels there, is transmitted to the Earth through a laser beam, this fulfils the energy need of the entire Earth. This depicts the energy being transmitted to Earth through the laser beam. This is called the Exoskin. So we talk about medicine, let's say ailments, this will tell you in advance, about any kind of disease you get. Alzheimer's, cancer, etc. And how you can change your diet to avoid those diseases.
You wear it like gloves? You wear it like a glove, you wear it on your finger, it takes power from your body, and it will give you updates.
This is like the next level of active watches.
The space station is parked over which part of the Earth? These are the names of the people,
who have died in space, unfortunately.
Here is Kalpana Chawla. But in addition to these, there are names of those people as well who will die in space during 2022 - 2071.
Till 2014, these are the actual real deaths in space, after that, they've simply imagined the names. They've tried really hard to make it feel like you're in 2071, and it's beginning to feel like it. You can look straight into the camera, give me your best smile! Alright, looks good.
Congratulations on your getting a job. I was applying for a job here. Mars colony ambassador. OSS stands for Orbital Space Station. Obviously, they took inspiration from ISS, International Space Station. The ISS is a real thing in 2022. This is OSS's Recruitment Centre.
At the end of this chapter, we sit in ejection pods and fall back to the Earth. As you can see here. We're going to Dubai, and we can see the Palm Islands in Dubai. They imagine that this is how Dubai will look like in 2071.A floor below,
we arrive at their second chapter.
It's based on the biodiversity of the Earth.
They've built an extensive DNA library here.
It has specimens of more than 2,400 species of animal and plants. Yeah, it's a collection of all the plants and animals. The second chapter of this museum, is based on healing.
On how to protect the natural ecosystems.
According to the story here, we're back on Earth. And now we're exploring this place.
This is a biosynth device with which
we can scan the specimens and see
how likely is it that it would be extinct by 2071.
This insect here, let's scan it.
Since this is turning red, it means that the chances are it will be extinct by 2071.
It is called the Levuana Moth
It was a coconut plant pest on the island of Fiji.
Ah, still alive. That's good. This is the Tapir, right?
Let's check the Tapir, because this one we just saw in Mexico. -Oh, it's also alive. -Really?
Oh, it's a mouse or something.
It's not a Tapir. It looks like it.
Here, they've shown futuristic animals
such as this bio-engineered moth.
They've bio-engineered animals and plants.
Although, I don't think everything shown here will be possible by 2071.
I think we'll achieve these imaginations in 2200.
This is the Chapter 3.Just an effect. It feels like water. It feels almost like stepping in water.
Chapter 3 focuses on disconnecting from technology and introspection. It's like a massage. This was a feeling therapy,
air was being blown out and there were sound effects, a meditation of sorts. Your palms are supposed to feel it.
Because there are a lot of sensors on the palm.
It is full of nerve endings through which we can feel. This is ground therapy. Oh, my God!
The time you spend here will refresh your mind completely, you'll feel relaxed. Okay, so here we have, a physician therapist called Universal Harmony. As you can see in front of you at the top, you all have marks,
all you have to do is you have to hum through this mark, and you're humming, perfect!
So when you hum, this will reach the top,
we're trying to connect all of these,
so we can achieve harmony by working together. Okay? -Ready to hum? -Yeah.
Let's start. Keep humming, perfect!
So as you can see now, it's being connected together, because we achieved our target by working together. There's a smell coming out now, can you smell it? Okay, we're done. Everyone was laughing. Because once it's connected, you were still humming, You had to start smelling. -You smelled it? -It smelled like herbs, right? -Yeah. -Like oregano or something.
Yeah. This is a nice place to meditate. I feel so relaxed just by lying here, I want to fall asleep right here. Let's take a small power nap.
There are these soothing patterns while meditating. These patterns are formed by vibrations, and there's water over there.
The vibrations in the sound is creating ripples in the water, which is then being projected here.
-Do you see that wall? -Yeah. Future Heroes,
Ages 10 and below. There's even a place to charge phones. in case your phone's battery gets low. They've thought about all facilities.
It is a truly modern building. This lift looks like the concept of a hyperloop. Amazing. Wow.
This is the Chapter 4. On the 2nd floor.
They're showing futuristic technologies here.
These drones from the future.Cars from the future, transportation. Quite a unique cycle.
The wheel isn't turned from the centre,
rather, this piece turns the wheel.
And it can be used to lock the wheel too.
And the cycle is locked, effectively.
Now, let's go to the most exciting part of the museum. Their viewing deck outside.
-I need my sunglasses. -It's like being in the Sauna. The view here is beautiful.
It feels weird to be standing here,
because the entire structure is in a curvature.
The same plane goes like this, goes up and comes back here. You can't find it anywhere else. Sleepy face. Anxiety detected. It's such a failed robot. Finally, this is the last section of the museum. This is for the kids. We started the journey from the top floor, the one about the space station. And then we kept coming down.
And this is the second floor, and then there's the entrance below it. The entrance area. The journey ends here. There are quite a few interesting things in the children's section.
Like this one. We are ready! Oh, it's so hard.
Ow. That's a black hole. As you can see I'm already in the future. We need to insert our fingers in it, and guess what's inside it.
There are many such boxes here.
You need to sense it to know what's inside it.
What I have is spring. No! It has pasta? I thought it was spring. If you were wondering about the Arabic writing on this museum, You can see that here. These quotes are inscribed on the building. If you want to find the best photo spots when you visit here, this is the best photo spot. There are two entrances to it.
The other entrance is near the highway. And there's a hotel on this side.
So you can come to this side, walk a little from the entrance, you will reach the best location to take a pic. Not only do you get a wonderful view of the museum from here, but you can see the flowers, flags, and some greenery too.
